This is my journey down memory lane, spanning across 19 years in the field of journalism. In this site you will find some of my journalistic work, from cub reporter to war correspondent. When I started as a cricket writer for The Island newspaper in Sri Lanka, little did I imagine that I would go on to enjoy many memorable moments – whether it was while working for the Haveeru and Spectrum newspapers in The Maldives, for the Sunday Times in Sri Lanka, for AFP as a correspondent covering the war in both Sri Lanka and Afghanistan or for Khaleej Times in Oman and then Dubai.
